Touchstones
This building first opened in 1884 as a Public Library. It is now an art gallery, museum, local studies centre and café, as well as the final stop on the Rochdale Trail!
The main museum gallery tells the fascinating story of the changes in landscape and land use in Rochdale from the Ice Age through to human industrial influences on the region.
The exhibitions in the art gallery change every few months, find out what’s on by visiting the Touchstones website.
